Data Scientist

We are the innovation company developing DataMall - the revolutionary marketing and analytical platform allowing companies and organization to provide their products and services in better and more customer centric offers. We are looking for experienced Data Scientist who will join our DataMall team. Data scientist should use statistical and econometric techniques to analyze data and answer complex questions about: Products and their impact to revenue Trends - both technological and business Communication with client through various channels and its impact to brand perception You should be passionate about finding and communicating insights in data, which you will use to help drive informed business decisions for the company. You should be extremely resourceful and results-oriented. The ideal candidate is proactive and self-starting, and someone who has already demonstrated you can utilize analytics to drive understanding about the success of products. Responsibilities: Driving the business impact: Collaborate and work closely with cross-functional business partners across Finance, Product, Engineering, Sales, and Product Marketing to key unanswered questions about revenue products Create meaningful presentations and analyses that tell a “story” focused on insights, not just data Be fast-moving and able to execute quickly on analyses; understand the 80–20 rule Synthesize methodology and data into actionable revenue strategy, and communicate findings to key business partners and company leadership Getting your hands dirty: Conduct in-depth analyses with datasets, large and small Use statistical and econometric techniques to help establish causal links between product changes or launches and revenue, and model/predict the performance of new and existing revenue products Analyze experimental results Develop dashboards to analyze and monitor key metrics Willingness and ability to learn more advanced statistical methods Be the go-to person for any data question Qualifications: 2+ years of work experience involving quantitative data analysis to solve product problems Undergrad or Masters degree in Math, Economics, Statistics, or related quantitative field Experience with writing and interpreting complex SQL queries Experience with statistical software (preferably R) Excel & PowerPoint expert Ability to communicate results clearly and effectively to a broad range of stakeholders; ability to build and manage relationships with business partners Pluses: You have worked in a fast-paced environment like banking or management consulting Experience with creating dashboards in Tableau Experience with Hadoop (Pig, Scalding)
