Plotting geotagged tweets on a map using Python

I have a database with 1,2 million tweets(gathered within 1 month) that have been tweeted from 4 different cities. The tweets are stored in the "tweet" table(PostgreSQL). I want you to make a python program that displays the geotagged tweets on a map. Not all the geotagged tweets, but the tweets with the 3 most popular hashtags! The program should read tweets(from the database) that were tweeted in a 10 minute period(maybe different) and export a high resolution image with dots on the places where tweets about the most popular hashtags were created. At the end, all the images previously created should be combined into one gif image(like an animation). You have to download the database i created and test the python program you created, in order to be sure that it works.

This process will show the spead of the 3 most popoular hashtags on a map.

Preffered library: Basemap toolkit

Type of the image: NASA ‘Blue Marble’ image
