A simple sockets proxy to a remote ssh shell.

Greetings, I have experience of node.js mainly via helping out a friend build his own site. Also my own site([login to view URL]), runs on node.js. In the project description, nodejs process will behave as a proxy service, communicating to the long running ssh session. As proof of concept I wrote a simple ssh remote proxy,by simple forwarding the requests(as I didnt realize the need of running a separate ssh session.) [login to view URL] //port on which proxy will listen var sourceport = 8080; //remote port var destport = 22; //remote host var remoteHost = "[login to view URL]"; Can you explain the specific need for running it over ssh2 library ? P.S : this is my first freelance application, let me know if more details are needed
