My concept is an electronic dumbell. Using motion sensing technology, similar to the Nintendo Wii or Xbox kinect, the proper exercise movements are recorded and stored. These exercises are performed by a several fitness experts to ensure accuracy. There would be a display at the ends of the barbell which shows the number of sets/reps to go. The user chooses the exercise via computer or phone app and is able to upload the exercises. There sensor receives and sends the movement to a chip which will then let the user know if they are doing the exercise correctly. If not, the counter on the display does not move. As for the weights, they can be slipped on and off. The bar should be universal so that most existing weights can be slipped on. If not, we can create or own custom weights to be used so that the design may be possible. The design should be a fusion
