We are an investment and consulting company located in Long Island, NY that purchases distressed or any under-market valued residential/commercial properties with its own private capital. The exit strategies include buy-renovate-resell, buy & hold, or wholesale the property. We are currently doing business in the Nassau, Suffolk, Brooklyn, Queens, and the Bronx. REMG also acts as a full service real estate consultant that facilitates both the home-selling and home-buying process. We are looking for a construction virtual assistant to help with the project management of our projects. Some of the duties included are: -Compile Finish Schedule -Create Time Schedule using Microsoft Project and update periodically (every 2 weeks) -Create a Scope of Work for the project -Create 3D renderings for the project based on the finish schedule (CAD drawings will be provided) -Assist with contracts for the vendors, contractors, etc. This is not a "one-time" position. We have a lot of work and we are looking for the right candidate to be part of our team. Here are the qualities we are looking for in the right VA:  Strong Communication & Interpersonal Skills (written and verbal)  Must be organized and detail-oriented  Team Player  Positive Attitude  Self-Starter  Ability to multi-task and work both in a team and independently  Ethical and forthright in and during customer relations  Ability to adapt to changing demands and priorities  Strong analytic skills in evaluating situations  Following instructions and being able to Respond to management direction  Takes responsibility for own actions  Keeps commitments  Commits to long hours of work when necessary to reach goals  Completes tasks on time or notifies appropriate person with an alternate plan  Demonstrated ability in effectively handling a variety of tasks simultaneously while maintaining efficiency in task accomplishment.  Strong verbal & written communication skills  Problem solving and analytical skills  Ability to multi-task, prioritize and be flexible with changing business needs in a team environment  Ability to adhere to deadlines and work under pressure  Shows initiative and strong judgment  Displays professionalism at all times  Ethical in all aspects of life Please provide past work completed if interested. As a Southern California-based architect, I have more than 20 years of project management experience, 7 years of which have been spent with a New York-based contractor involved in general construction. I can start working with practically no learning curve. I am an expert user of MS Project for scheduling and control; Excel for cost and quantity estimating; Word for reporting; Skype, email, Viber, cellphone and Teamviewer for communicating; AutoCad for drawing and design and Google SketchUp for 3D work. I am capable of assisting you from start to completion: creating scope of work, cost and quantity estimates, calling vendors for quotes, contract preparation and review and construction.
