I am a translator with engineering background. I got my engineering degree from Cairo University in Egypt and got my general and legal translation diploma from the American University in Cairo. I worked for about 16 years as a full-time translator at AMBRIC (American British Consulting Firm) in Cairo. During that period, I rendered translation from English to Arabic of a number of relevant British Technical Specifications, American Technical Specifications, Financing Agreement and appendices, Tender documents, Contracts, progress reports, interim statements, variation orders, complaints, equipment catalogs and Operation and Maintenance manuals.
After completion of the Greater Cairo Waste water Project supervised by AMBRIC, I assumed my job as freelance translator. I translated miscellaneous types of contracts, certificates, newspaper articles, books, manuals, ..etc.
I am a member of EGYTA (Egyptian Translators Association).
