The site is a prestige car servicing and used car sales site.
Revamp and redesign of website and moving it into a simple CMS (Wordpress/Drupal/Joomla or similar PHP based system - to be agreed before start). An Initial redesign concept is here:

An MS word file containing a draft of the content is included. The redesign concept is just that, and is open to complete change.
The ability to add new pages, modify content and SEO/meta data etc while maintaining the overall look and feel of the website.

While price is always important, the overall quality of the design, the CMS and long term maintenance are more important than saving a few pennies!

Technologies - our preferences (for what it's worth):
strict html5 compliance [prefer to maintain full html4.1 but the future is html5!]
CSS3 but prefer to stick to CSS2.1 until CSS3 is fully adopted
all layout using <div> tags - no frames or tables for layout whatsoever; tables only for true tabular data as per their true use!
PHP5
MySQL Database on a Linux based system
Google Analytics (java)
Java and Ajax as required
NO flash or other technologies/plug in requirement without explicit consent
NO asp/.net/Microsoft (Windows) specific technologies or other languages/scripting unless prior agreement as to scope and use (rather none at all)
