Build a Social Bookmarking Site

We're looking for someone to build a website where people with similar interests can go to share interesting content. Somewhere where people can see content that appeals to them and not be subject to content driven by people outside their own demographic. We believe in community. We believe there is a place for everyone. We help people find a place for themselves. We help people find a place where they belong.
With our unique algotithms and our ability to break free of the entrenched demographics which limit the size of similar sites, we believe that we have the ability to grow a site beyond Reddit, Digg, Printerest, etc. And we need your help to do so.
An early iteration of our site can be found at [url removed, login to view], but we are looking to start over with some professional experience.
In general, the scope of work will include:
Development of the site architecture, including:
Log In
User stats and rankings
Display of a series of links (with and without thumbnail images) to other sites
Each link will have a page for comments / discussion associated with it.
The actual programming language(s) used is flexible, but we would prefer a LAMP-based architecture.
The previous iteration of source code will be made available to you, but you are under no obligation to re-use any of that architecture
Install the code on the server host that we will designate.
QA testing to ensure that the core functionality of the site works properly after installation
Set up some of the initial communities and set up various RSS feeds (to be provided)
Expected completion in four months, though we're flexible for the right bid.

* The first 12 pages of the specification document. The complete document can be provided to select finalists prior to final bid and acceptance of bid.
* The complete list of use case categories related to the above.
* Mock-up of the proposed site layout
* FAQ: Who we are.
