# Introduction This is a pilot job designed to hire a Ruby on Rails programmer for a longer project. Both the pilot project and the longer project will be fixed-price jobs. For this pilot project, I'll be hiring upto 3 freelancers and select one of them for the longer project. All 3 will be paid for this pilot provided they complete the assignment. While the primary focus will be on RoR skills, the following skills will be helpful. * Javascript Frontends * Twitter Bootstrap # The Job Replicate [login to view URL] partially. Build an RoR app that implements the following features - - Login via gmail/facebook - Select from a given list of tests - Take a test (you can just replicate the ux from mypath) - See the results (a simple chart would be nice) Keep it simple and stupid, and use fake data when necessary. While evaluating for the longer RoR project, we'll look at the following: - Code quality - Modularity of code - Ability to do simple designs with Bootstrap - Familiarity with Javascript (implement gmail/facebook login via an api, or do a simple chart with javascript, whatever you prefer) If you are a kickass rockstar RoR developer, we probably can't afford you right now. The price for this job does reflect that to some extent. The output doesn't need to look very solid. We are just interested in seeing what you can produce for this much of money.
