Looking for an experienced helpdesk technician/operator to provide assistance for end users. The issues range from assistance with word to troubleshooting issues with VPN. The candidate must be able to work independently with minimal supervision. Work will include plenty of project work over and above helpdesk/NOC role. Must be proficient with Windows, Windows Server operating systems, Office suite, familiar with virus and spyware removal, able to work with different antivirus applications and be able to research issues quickly and efficiently. Able to setup and troubleshoot networks of various complexity working with Engenious appliances, Cisco switches and router, Fortinet, Linksys, DLink etc. Android, Iphone, Blackberry and Windows phone support as far as email setup and troubleshooting, wireless connectivity. We are currently evaluating a number of collaboration/tracking systems and you must be willing to install the software on your pc. When not responding to customer inquiries and troubleshooting customer issues you would be expected to work on various projects that are ongoing, ranging from deploying applications, running maintenance on equipment and performing various regular tasks. Remote access will be made available as well as attended remote control tools which will allow you to connect to any remote appliance. Nice to have Linux and VoIP skills. English is an ABSOLUTE must, customer service and pleasant demeanor is required. Patience and ability to explain to non-technical users what the issue is and how to resolve it. Must have reliable internet connection that will allow to work with remote sessions and have VoIP softphone installed for communication with Inbound and Outbound calls to and from customers and other members of the team. Currently looking for 1-3 qualified individuals. Various shifts to provide support between 7am and 8pm with project work outside those hours. Time zone is Eastern North America (New York). Compensation will be reflective of skills and experience. Be prepared for an interview as well as a technical skills and customer service skills tests.
