My clients wanted to see the flow distribution inside the flow path of the centrifugal compressor. Was made a 3-D model, generated the meshes and made the simulation in CFD program. All numerical gas-dynamic results of the CFD simulation were confirmed by experiment.

Application of the commercial CFD-products for the calculation of gas dynamic characteristics of centrifugal compressors

Compressor and energy engineering – №1 (31) – 2013 – P.7–11. (Rus.).

Calculations were made in the software (Ansys CFX) and compared with experimental data. Using calculations were made necessary amendments to the geometric model of an object and achieve the desired results.
