Hello, My name is Deeptesh Malik and i am located in Bhopal, India. I am a project management professional with 4+ years of experience in handling various project management jobs. One of my best achievement till date was working as Project Management Consultant with PricewaterhouseCooper India for ICT projects falling under Smart Cities Mission of Government of India. This gave me an tremendous opportunity to implement and Manage various innovative ICT projects & programs, and in process contribute to the development of my nation. Some of the projects i have been proudly a part of are: 1. BhopalPlus: A mobile application that serves as a one stop web portal and mobile application for facilitation of government citizen engagement and collaboration, avail citizen services, accessing live city feeds, grievance redressal, etc. 2. Public Bike-Sharing: Bhopal Smart Public Bike Sharing is India’s first fully automated bicycle sharing system. 3. Integrated Command & Control Centre (ICCC): ICCC is a common platform where all the information from various sources like city operation centers and applications are stored. All the information collected here, are analyzed for better planning of the smart cities using integrated analytical layer / BI engine. These insights / trends are helpful in managing incidents across the state and individual city and do a better planning for the development and delivery of various citizen services in the city. ICCC is connected with various city level command & Control Centres and various applications of the city from where feeds are to be received. It hosts common command center application platform for several cities across Madhya Pradesh (7 cities to be precise). It also hosts other common applications like integrated analytical layer / BI engine. Eventually all the smart components / applications deployed in the cities are integrated with the common platform layer for managing smart city operations. Prior to starting my career in project management domain, i studied Computer Science Engineering and obtained a Bachelor of Engineer degree. After working in a small company as an entry level Engineer, i went on to study Business Management from University of Southampton, UK. I completed my PG Diploma in Business Analytics & Management Science with Project Management as a major and started my career in aforementioned domain. Working with my previous employers has helped my acquire various important skills to be a successful project manager in the long run. Few of the very useful practical skills i have acquired are listed below: 1. Develop and maintain organizational systems and structures 2. Track and support project process 3. Brainstorm and vision project details 4. Create timeline and support systems for projects 5. Assist with recruitment and assessment of team members 6. Assist with scheduling and customer care Apart from that, i am also fluent in English and have finished all my degrees in English language.
