My professional career brings memories from my childhood experience where I always used to wonder how this telephone thing works, where I always played around pressing random keys and hearing different tones. I feel lucky to convert those passions into reality by fulfilling various roles in my seven years in the telecommunication industry. I began my career in 2014 at Sonus Networks, working as a full-time Webrtc QA engineer for webrtc SDK API testing. With the background of Java, I was able to build Webrtc end-to-end automation framework with the help of selenium. Hands-on experience in performance testing tools such as Spectra, Ixia and Exfo. REST API testing using postman with the help of JSON. Very well experienced in end-to-end testing with cross-browsers and cross-platform testing and not to forget the interop testing between webrtc and sip endpoints. Good working knowledge of RIBBON Products such as SBX, QSBC, PSX, EMS, WebRTC and GSX. First and foremost, deploying and configuring the products in different environments like cloud(openstack), VMware and bare metal on various flavors of Linux. Good end-to-end product working knowledge experience especially with webrtc and SBC(Session Border Controllers). That being said, have in-depth knowledge in voip protocols like sip and H323 in conjunction with SDP, DNS, RTP/RTCP, UDP, TCP/TLS. Other L2 and L3 protocols like ARP and IPsec. I have played around with different softphones like kapanga, Bria, linphone, jitsi, cisco jabber and also cisco hard phones, configuring and dialing with cisco Room systems and skype PSTN. Substantial knowledge on SIPp scripting. Good understanding of Linux commands with debugging of network and routing-related issues and additional proficiency in shell scripting. Not to forget the fluency in C and perl with additional contributions in online platforms. Currently, working as a webrtc SDK automation testing engineer and sip and h323 roomsystem testing engineer at Bluejeans by Verizon. Also, involved in working here as an automation validation engineer for webrtc and room system audio/video/content media validation. Having, In-depth understanding and knowledge of various testing methodologies and testing models, and last but not least, have experience in using automation servers like Jenkins along with cucumber framework. Have done multiple unit testing, white-box and black-box testing for various projects and products like SBC, Webrtc gateways, etc. I also have scripting knowledge and can write a Perl or shell script to automate the tests and execute them whenever needed - this approach would save our time.
