Functions and Responsibilities: • Generate and review Project Estimations for testing activities. • Perform System, Integration and Regression Test Execution activities. • Perform Test Planning activities: o Collaboration with Business Analyst and developers for the preparation of Test Planning activities. o Generate/ Review Master Test Plans, System and Integration Test plans. o Generate/ Review Test Scenarios, Cases, Conditions and scripts based on client requirements. o Generate/ Review of Requirement Traceability Matrix • Perform Test preparation activities: o Ensure that allocated Servers, Databases are installed and configured correctly. o Ensure that application build are completely installed by performing smoke/ shakedown testing prior to perform functional testing. o Create/ Ensures that test data are complete and covers all the testing requirements. • Perform System, Integration and Regression testing for Front-End and Back End process. Also utilizes Linux environment for back-end testing environment. • Perform SQL scripting (queries, insert/ update/ delete DB) for test execution and analysis purposes. • Review and update Resource allocation matrix for resource availability analysis. • Collaboration with developers (including BA’s and Project Managers if necessary) for closure of defects. • Generate Test Sign-off/ completion reports. • Utilizes HP Quality Center to manage Test deliverables such as Test Plan, Test Case and Condition, Test Scripts. • Utilizes HP Quality Center to manage test defects. • Utilizes HP Quality Center for test monitoring and reporting purposes.
