In Aquarium photography, we use lens covers or portholes to dip our lens below the water surface so we can take macro photography easier. However the manufacturer of these lens covers has a hard time keeping them in stock. I would like to create one that can be manufactured easily and I can sell from my website. The attached pictures are of the current companies porthole. It's not designed with any kind of way to control lens functions once the porthole goes over the lens. The type of lens typically used is the canon 100mm macro USM. I'd like to design a model that I can demonstrate to customers that our porthole device is designed to preserve all camera functionality when our porthole is on.

What functionality needs to be maintained? If you want button presses the product may not be "easily manufactured" per say, but if it's just the focal rotation etc then that could be doable. The issue will be maintaining waterproofing with the added moving parts, which is doable but just increases manufacture complexity.

  What i would like to do is still be able to rack focus for example. all parts of the lens are ccovered by the porthole. I have one and can send pictures to show further if the pictures are not good enough that i uploaded.
