Hello Designers,

I have a client who is wanting a logo design for his new business. He is launching an Airport Transfer business for holiday-makers, which primarily consists of picking up pre-booked passengers from the airport and dropping them to their hotels / resorts. This will be a "luxury" service. Other business operate in the area, but most only run shuttle mini buses or standard SUV vehicles. His new service will be using premium vehicles such as BMW X5, Range Rovers and so on.
The service will also offer holidaymakers private tours of the area / sightseeing, so please do not use an airplane.

The business name is : JEWEL TRANSFERS - Port Douglas
Location: Business is based on tropical far north Queensland, transporting passengers from Cairns airport to the town of Port Douglas near the Great Barrier Reef.
The road to Port Douglas is a Heritage listed area of outstanding natural beauty. On one side is the beautiful Coral Sea which is home to the Barrier Reef and to the other side is the Daintree Rainforest.


Design ideas:
We are looking for a simple, classic, high end logo. No cartoon-like images. NO GENERIC CLIPART / VECTRA images that you can find easily on google! NO AIRPLANE IMAGES. It MUST BE a uniquely designed logo.

Here are some key words to think of when designing the logo:

Road | Tropical | Palm Tree | Ocean | Coral | A Jewel | Sunshine

My client put forward an idea of possibly the Jewel Transfers name and a curved road which had a palm tree at the end of the line, or maybe the outline of a jewel included. However, I believe you artistic freelancers could come up with something similar or even more interesting!
Just remember, this is a premium service, so it has to be simple & classy.
I have attached images of the road which will take passengers from the airport to Port Douglas town as inspiration.

We are looking to work with a designer ongoing to then develop business cards, leaflets, brochures etc.
