Add PDF Feature

We are looking for an expert in PDF creation that can help us create a very simple feature. We are looking to create a tool that will allow us to modify an existing PDF, so that, when opened, it would silently invoke/ping a URL.

This could be done through several ways. Maybe by adding a single hidden form field to the PDF and automatically submitting the form to a predefined url, or using a javascript function to invoke the url.

The feature would allow the following.

1. allow user to upload PDF to a website (asp.net)

2. upon uploading, system will insert url into the pdf.

3. System would save the new PDF for the user so they can download it.

4. When they open the PDF, it "pings" the url. It does not open a new window or browser...the user will view their original pdf as normal.

If you bid on this, please consider if you can deliver. I had another developer bid on this, and they were not able to deliver.
