Component to manage languages on an embedded Linux

We are looking for a simple component (daemon) to manage languages on an embedded system. We have lot of strings in several languages. The task for this component it´s simply: return the appropriated text for the language and id passed as parameter (through a socket). Modifying or adding new strings it´s not necessary

Requirements:

* POSIX C Language

* Software must compile and run on modern Linux systems

* Software must compile and run on modern embedded systems that are running Linux on ARM (uClibc)

* Well-documented project (with Doxygen)

* Unit/component testing using Check [url removed, login to view] or any similar unit testing framework

* You will be required to deliver to us complete source code.
