We are a manufacturer of Routers looking for a mechanical engineer to assist in the design, prototyping, and final production of a new electronic cabinet.
The scope of the project is the initial design, and working with a manufacturer during the design modifications, mold prototyping and final assembly. Knowledge or working relationship with a preferred plastics/aluminum manufacturer is an asset.
The design will be very similiar to the Ewon router [login to view URL] or Moxa [login to view URL]
It would be great to have something more creative but this is the basic cabinet look. We are currently open to either plastics or aluminum design cabinet
We would like to have a front face plate that can be easily customized pending on what connectors and LED type and number are used on the product"
We are needing this done within 2 weeks and require a mold and potential manufacturer of up to 1000 pieces on the first build. This may be a longer term working relationship as we will modify this cabinet and have other projects.
