CSS cleanup, HMTL edit, and CSS Sprites - repost

Would like a clean up and combining of two particular stylesheets on a website. You would need to go through pages on the website (you will have to create a dummy account to view about 5 pages in the my account section) and there are about 2 more files that are not linked to which I will provide the url for you to view. There are about 11 pages in total.
THERE ARE A NUMBER OF CSS REFERENCES WHICH ARE REDUNDANT SO NEED TO BE REMOVED FROM THE STYLESHEET.
I would like to create the html for modification to 4 pages. It is a case of converting table layout to a more appropriate css layout (or perhaps not, depending on what you think is the better option). The proposed layouts will be provided as a jpg file but the end result does not require being pixel perfect nor in fact using any graphical elements that appear in the jpgs. The site uses jquery ui and buttons etc are currently created using that, and it would be fine to continue as such.
I'd like you to optimize the combined file, and if you can see a better way of writing a particular bit of css, rewrite those parts.
Then I'd like your opinion on and the subsequent integration of css sprites. From what I can see, there maybe the need to integrate perhaps 10-15 images into 4 different sprites. I would like the images that are called using the img tag to be css sprites using the method described on this url: [login to view URL]
So in summary:
1) Cleanup and combine 2 CSS files, removing redundant css references.
2) HTML code for 4 pages, just to neaten up the tables in those pages. They are not a complete page rewrite. I will provide links to the pages for those who bid
3) css sprites for a few of the images on the website, some of them being in the format described on [login to view URL]
