Custom Joomla component

We are looking for a Joomla/Mambo developer that could help us create a custom component based on this ajax directory browsing script [url removed, login to view] !

First notes are:

- the system should integrate the users with the Joomla users tables, including the necessary permissions

- we need the perl uploader script translated to php if possible, so all will users have to do is to install the component and configure the directories
