Someone with very little knowledge of R wishes to download from [url removed, login to view] (daily racing form) a set of csv files, and then load them into R making the output similar to the pdf files that can be downloaded for free at [url removed, login to view] (go to 'results'). The example of the csv files are here: [url removed, login to view];ACBSessionID=3F397092C68197B04492 Then with the race results organized and saved I wish to use perform statistical operations on the results, for example finding the mean final time for sprint races at Gulfstream Park for maiden claiming races for the month of December, or using Spearman's Correlation coefficient formula to compare two lists of data. The programmer should be aware of the huge number of categories (type of surface, male or female horses, age, length of the race, claiming, allowance, stakes races (etc.). You should also include the commands for R as though someone knew next to nothing. I have R Studio and Rx64 2.13.2. on a Windows 7 operating system. Also the procedure for forming box plots or box plots with kernel density (violin) plots would be a plus.
