I need someone to copy and paste data in real estate documents. This is an easy, mechanical task, but the process of obtaining the data is rather complex, requiring numerous extractions of data from emails and two websites. The instruction contains 27 points that may require future modifications and additions as we go. You will need to have good understanding of real estate terms. You will need to: access the email account and download emails daily (5-10 emails per day on average), check and send emails at least twice daily. You will need to be available in the US East Coast working hours. You will need to have Internet Explorer to access Internet and open webpages that work only with IE. You will need to have a PDF Adobe Acrobat and Adobe Photoshop installed on your computer to modify and print each document to PDF format and be able to fill-in blank fields in PDF documents. You will need to have basic match skills to do additions, deductions, and calculate averages. A calculator would be needed, also a Visual Basic knowledge may help to automate the task. I will provide you with detailed instructions in text and video format, but I expect there would be a prolonged learning phase during which we will need to communicate in real time. You will save each set of PDF documents in a separate, individually named folder and send it as a compressed email attachment or upload to FTP. Therefore, elementary familiarity with FTP protocol and ZIP or RAR formats should be demonstrated. I need you to list the names and versions of the email client, ftp client, pdf distiller, and file compression software installed on your machine in your bid, so I know you read and understood this project description. Each email would generate the need to save approximately 20 files, and 5 of them would need to be filled with data by you. You will have access to confidential data, therefore I will need you to sign confidentiality agreement.
You need to have an excellent command of English. Any prior experience with real estate documents would be considered a plus. Working knowledge of Visual Basic or other language to automate some work will be considered a plus. I need someone willing and able to communicate the progress of work first on hourly basis, then communicate on daily basis as I would become confident in your understanding of the tasks. I need someone for a continuous employment, but I am posting it first as a one-time project for 60 contracts, to be able to pick the best candidate. Please, do not waste your and my time by sending me: description of your pitiful conditions, invitations to chat or email, requests for visa sponsorship, descriptions full of superlatives, marketing drivel. What i need is facts. Remember that I will judge your command of English by the syntax and grammar of the message you sent to [login to view URL] you will find a 1 minute quiz. This quiz would give you the idea of the type of tasks you will be required to perform, and it will give us indication that you have elementary real estate literacy. Please, open the file named Quiz A and calculate the average price on basis of the four lowest priced properties. Please, open the file named Quiz B and pick one closest comparable price for the property marked with green in the top row. Please, open the file named Quiz C and copy the full address of the listed property and number of bathrooms. Please do not bid if your not looking for long term work. Please bid for 60 contracts only, this is a test project and will be assigned to multiple providers. If your work is good then you'll have work every day. You must have or be willing to obtain a ITIN tax number from the US IRS or if you are in the US you must file taxes at the end of the year on income made over $600/year. You will be required to give your tax info once you have reached the $600 mark. If this is a problem please do not bid.
