Automate data and text within a Word document

Hello
I have a data table at the top of a Word document that needs to: 1) insert itself into sections of the body text automatically; and 2) convert number ranges to text descriptions (e.g., 50-59 = 'low', 60-69 = average).
Please only apply if you have read the requirements and are confident you could do this within Word. If you can only do this in Excel, please tell me in your message. I will provide the document and rules to the person awarded.
