Task is simple build a schematic, and PCB for a meter that will accurately show the ESR(Equivalent Series Resistance) , Competence of a capacitor that has a 1uF or less value.
The meter will be Auto Ranging to reonize the capacitor values below 1,and 2.
The meter has to show correct value for,
1.**Picofarad**
2.**NanoFarad. **
The meter will be able to check the small caps in circuit. I understand caps in Parnell will not be correct. But meter should be designed to check caps in circuit.
The meter will use a digital display. ie (0.00).
The meter will use a 9v Battery as power source.
The meter will have protection for checking capistors that have not be discharged.
The meter shall cut it self off after not being used for 1min.
The meter will need to show when it is time to replace the 9v Battery(This will be when the meter can not operate correctly because of the low voltage).
Any components you use (caps, resistors, led displays, ICs ) should be freely available from the market so it is easy to order the parts to build the meter.
I will require **all files** necessary to send finished PCB to a board house to be made for production.
I will require all source files of the project.
I prefer to use the software Circuit Wizard , if you do not have it I can provide a copy for you to work with. It is easy to test your PCB see link

You can use any industry standard software you like if you do not want to use Circuit Wizard.(You will need to provide me with a copy of this software).
Be advised that I will not accept the project until I build it on a Bread Board and confirm it works as it should.
