Analyze photos of underwater substrates

I have photos of the seafloor. These need to be analyzed by placing random points over the photos, and then assigning each point to one of 9 categories of substrates. Please see the attached powerpoint presentation for details. As accuracy is important, there are some practice photos in the presentation and a test excel spreadsheet, place a 1 in the appropriate excel column for each random point. Accuracy and experience will count for a lot when deciding who gets the job.
Sorry, I'm having a bit of trouble adding the powerpoint file...If it's not up now I'll keep working on it, or I'll have to send it to those who request it.
