Greetings,
I need help with a logo design for an apparel company called Dudedads. The logo will be on a website and on shirts/hats/hoodies.
Dudedads is a concept that was born from being a new proud dad with no way to outwardly display it without wearing a World's Greatest Dad t-shirt. A Dudedad is someone who loves being a dad, which defines the majority of him, but also is someone who heavily identifies and maintains his dude-self. The Dudedad is a family man first, but balances his life with his personal passions as well. These passions could be active (skiing, hiking, backpacking, cycling, climbing, golf, music, beer, etc...think generalizations of what men love to do). The Dudedad isn't cheesy. He doesn't want the World's Greatest Dad t-shirt, however, he would wear a shirt that has an icon or logo that tastefully represents the love of his children (his Dad-self) and his other passions (his Dude-self).
The logo can (but does not have to) include a symbol, which does not necessarily need to have the word Dudedad within it, however, if a symbol or icon is created as a part of the logo then the word "Dudedad" will need to be placed next to the icon in certain situations, especially on the website.
If an icon is created as a part of the logo, I'm also hoping someone can help me present the word Dudedad in a cool way.
