Since I a layman in website content management, you may not find my directions as non-standard. However, i need a website where I should be able to upload contents by myself and where subscribers can pay to enroll their desired courses. What I need a basic template with all different facets available; the features that must be there are stated below.
Purpose: a website for a online coaching center with five different course.
> students should be able to register their related course upon payment.
> Student Dashboard: once the student log-in they should be able to view their current academic status--results, lessons to be learned etc.
> lesson will be delivered through video lecture with downloadable pdf. Some pdfs be downloadable and some are not)
>> lesson page: once a lesson is clicked by a student, the lesson-video will appear (like youtube video) on the page where the next lessons will show up in the right hand side. the video lesson can't be downloaded; subscriber will be able to view only the video.
> resources pages:
> (timed and un-timed) quiz form (4 and five choices multiple choice questions ),
> (timed and un-timed) practice test forms (three choices, four choice and five choice multiple choice questions). once a student finishes her test, they should be able to review every individual questions.
> all other necessary pages for an standard website-- home page, team, mission, who we are, terms of use, contact, help etc should be included.
> launch the template website under a domain name provided.
In addition, we need suggestions to protect video content from being copied and how to manage peak time usage. Need suggestions regarding video size, streaming speed, loading time, video storage etc..
Need suggestion about best hosting services and related issues.
Long term relationship is expected.
