We have 4-5 small businesses that require new website designs. This project is for redesigning the website for the first business as a trial to work on the other web designs. To work on this project, knowledge of email capture, lead generation, landing pages and sales funnels is a must.
I am familiar with the wordpress platform and more comfortable using that for building the websites, but I am open to other platforms if they make sense for the functionality needed
The first business is a product design business that is rebranding and needs a new site to communicate services to clients and to collect email addresses for lead generation. The design style of the site needs to match the branding of the new logo design (in progress) which will be a light minimalist feel. While the design is important, the basic function and usability of the website is crucial. "Keeping it simple" is important.
The site will contain the following pages:
-Home
-About
-Contact
-Services
-Articles/Blog
-Case studies
Each page should have a sidebar with a download offer in exchange for an email address (using MailChimp as email service).
The site should include plug-ins for SEO, "pop-up" windows for collecting email addresses and a means to back-up the website. I am open to other recommend plug-ins as well.
Most of the content is already on the old website ([login to view URL]). The new logo and branding will be completed and ready to use by the end of the week. The URL is already purchased and hosted with BlueHost.
