Design Logos for 3 choirs and 1 annual music event (with 1 linking graphical element)

Our small town amateur classical music vocal group needs 4 logos for our choirs and an annual event - Kokanee Singers, Kokanee Singers Junior, Inspirati Chorale, and Opera in the Park.

1. One linking graphical element (Can be varied throughout, of course).

We were thinking that one graphical element would be a linking theme through all of them. As this graphical link we though a wave/smudge made of 5 parallel lines (music staff [login to view URL](music) ). As the names include musical words in them, we don’t want any notes or other music symbols pictured there – just the empty staff. Mozart said, “music is in the silences between the notes” – an additional reasoning for the empty staff. We thought that this "music staff wave" can be a stylized partial silhouette of a salmon (reference to a Kokanee name).

2. 3 Choirs – 3 logos

a. Kokanee Singers

The amateur choir that signs mostly modern American repertoire (songs from musicals, gospel, jazz). Would also like to make a short version of the logo with the graphical element – KS.

Kokanee is also a name of a type of salmon [login to view URL] and a geographical name of a mountain range (referring to the Kokanee salmon) [login to view URL] . Oh, and there is a local beer named Kokanee [login to view URL]

b. Kokanee Singers Junior

Children choir. Would also like to make a short version of the logo with the graphical element – KS Jr.

c. Inspirati Chorale – a small ensemble of more advanced armature singers that sings classical European acapello repertoire – from Renaissance, Baroque, and Classical periods. Word Inspirati has 3 meanings: 1. Inspired, 2. Inhalation (air; important, because singing is breathing), and 3. In spirit

3. Opera in the Park - Annual event – 1 logo

Opera in the Park is an annual event – a concert of mostly operatic music for the townspeople.
