Display graphs based on query results on website build with Ruby on Rails

I have a website running on RoR. It's a bit messy, but works. It's not public, as it is only for internal use. The project is based on "Fat Free CRM", which is nice and open source. The database behind it is simply MySQL.
Right now, the user can build a query based on some criteria obtained from forms and if there is a result from the database, it is displayed. This is fine and working.
What I am looking for, is to have the results displayed as graph as well. There are about 10 different kinds of results, requiring different kinds of graphs (bar and pie mainly).
The technology for the graphs is not so important - 'gruff', 'highcharts' - whatever.
As I said, the functionality for displaying the results from the queries in tabular form works.
I need someone to get these results and transform them into graphs.
