Classic ASP/MSSQL Login Hash

We have several Classic ASP sites that utilize a very basic login from MSSQL tables where the password is stored in clear text. This project consists of providing sample VBScript code and MSSQL (2005) scripts and stored procedure for converting our database password field from plain text to a hash (or encrypted).

The MSSQL script will just be the query needed to update our new password field with the hashed value of the previous password (so that all passwords remain the same but are simply hashed).

The classic ASP code should include the following functions

1. compare the user supplied value on our login form to the hashed password.

2. change the hashed password to a new password from our change password form.

No installation is required and we should be able to handle all implementation on our end so long as the code provided is self-explanatory.
