PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
I have a list of 1390 homepages. For each homepage, I need to obtain the company's proper name. For example, for the homepage [login to view URL], the company name would be "Oracle Corporation". In the attached spreadsheet you will find the first 30 entries with the first 8 completed as a sample. I've also included the domain Registrant's name and the homepage title. In most cases you'll be able to determine the company name from that information. But in some cases you'll have to visit the homepage to scan the welcome text for the company name (the title/whois data cannot always be relied on). There is not always just one "correct" entry, so I'm not expecting perfection - Use your best judgment in considering the url/whois/title, and if necessary the homepage text.
