Bug fix of xp comm device driver

I have a communications driver that I had written years ago for windows nt 4.0 and it works great.

But I am nowing tring to run in on windows xp and when starting the driver it crashes my whole PC.

It basically is a driver for an isa communication device, much like a serial port driver would be written but with a bigger protocol.

It is around 10 cpp files.

I want you to find out what is causing it to crash my system.

You can test it on your PC as you don't need a device to solve this problem.

By crashing it doesn't even blue screen it just reboots my xp sp2 machine.

I have the xp ddk kit for building device drivers if you need it.

I would like to know what function is causing the system to crash (specific line numbers). and then I would like that fixed, not just commented out. Once that is done, the driver should load/start and will most likely work fine. It could by something as simple as a kernel call is no longer available on xp.

## Deliverables

1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.

2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):

a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.

b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.

3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
