Hi there. I sell saw blades which all of them are custom length. They range from 5 feet to 25 feet including different kinds of inches and fraction of inches.
I'm trying to making it so they select the length in drop down boxes. Like one box for feet, one box for inches, one box for fract. of inches, and it will update the cost. Than they also will select attributes the normal way (since the thickness or the tooth set doesnt not affect pricing).
Than that info would be put into an equation.
( length (by half foot)* price per foot + weld charge ) * 0.57 ***For "by half foot" The values should be: 0=.0 1,2,3,4,5,6 =.5 7,8,9,10,11 = next foot up or .99, whichever is easier.
I would also have to make it easy for the price per foot to change as well as the weld charge (different on all blades) in the admin panel. So you would only have to change two prices and everything will be updated for that particular blade. For the finish product, you would have to show me two different kinds of blades that work which both will have different weld and price per foot cost. And a stand alone product with no special attributes and a set price that can be changed like the regular way.
(I ATTACHED A PRICE LIST OF THE TWO BLADES WHICH WOULD BE THE CORRECT PRICE AT THAT LENGTH)
## Deliverables
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Install the program in OSCommerce and provide 3 examples to make sure the program works. For the finish product, you would have to show me two different kinds of blades that work which both will have different weld and price per foot cost. And a stand alone product with no special attributes.
3) I must be able to add 2 different kinds of blades with different cost and weld charges easily and without difficulty.
4) OsCommerce must still have all the functionality as it has before the code is installed.
5) Give a copy of the code to me in case OSCommerce needs to be reinstalled (with instructions), you may redistribute the code after the project is done.
