Data Management

I am a little unsure where to begin with this as I only know very little about programming. I need a program that will execute the following on multiple databases and database types.

- Cleaned of all profanity (using profanity list)

- ability to put headers at first line of every file

- Keeper to keep certain domains, fields, etc.. by file for specific outputs

- Remover to remove certain domains or members of a pertaining field and must first find and optionally remove the full record

- output to txt,csv,xml

- sort NON - U.S.A. domains seperately within their own group and output by country domain extension code

- If there is no record for a field for a subscriber then insert nothing with a comma (,,,,) when combining all files so record has same # of fields

-Seperator by domain, by equal fields, by source, by gender, state, city, by field.

-Seeder to input your own seeds for records within the list every X records

- Counter to count number of records within a certain field and/or whole file.

- Dedupe any of the data

- Must be able to handle any size of file and unlimited input files.

I need this program to help store my data and need them cleaned and output to my liking anytime I need with this software.

Here is an example of the types of data being worked with:

Types of input:

First Name, Last Name, Address, City, State, Zip Code, Phone, Timestamp, IP

Data:

Joe,Smith,238 Wilbrew St., Chicago, IL, 61032,702-555-3293, Jan 6 2006, [login to view URL]

Some records contain more and some contain less data. I have some other programs that do some of these tasks but not to this extent if any examples are needed or more info contact me.

## Deliverables

1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.

2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):

a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.

b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.

3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).

I hope this clears up who knows what I want and what I dont want from everyone who thinks they can do it, this project is not easy considering it uses unlimited files and unlimited HD space depending on what im putting in, what format, and how large the file. I have some files that contain a few million records of a few gigs... can you sort that however you want? all males or females in a file or everyone from a particular state or such.... I really hope so but the prices vary big time so I have to find out who knows what I want and who just wants to start a job.

Experience is great but understanding what I really need is great also. For those I choose I will be sending a file to work with on this that is atleast 20-50 MBs. This is small for this type of project because we are talking gigabytes.

I am trying to get things done properly and some people think they can do it very easily which I highly doubt which I am sorry for doing but part of the game, but I am willing to try and unless you have maybe already done a program like this for someone which I highly doubt because this is the business I am in and its not a walk isn the park. Those that have done major data management are possibly ready for this.

I work with a guy that uses 10 computers to do all these tasks. I dont think it takes all that but lets work together and figure it out. I am in the process of writing up details for the functions that some dont understand. Get back to me with anything you Don't understand so I can get things right and work with you.

If you pretend to understand and you dont know what I am really looking for I will be di sapointed so atleast ask.

## Platform

I mostly use windows but I understand something like this might be better off with Linux. I am willing to learn to operate on linux if necessary otherwise I use mostly windows 2003 server standard.
