Wanting to get a quote for a website for an online tutoring company I'm opening. Below are the functions I would need:
-Standard stuff (information pages...etc.)
-Sign up/Log in function, where students can sign up as students and access student features. There will be an option to sign up through Facebook
-Tutors (employees) should be able to log in to a teacher account where they can access tutor features.
-Registered students will be able to buy "credits" for classes with discounts for buying in bulk (eg. 20% off for buying 100 hours up front vs. paying full price for 10 hours). They will be able to apply discount codes from local promotions (stats from entered codes will be available to admin for marketing assessment purposes). They will be able to see each tutor's available classes (inputted by administrator) on a calendar, see what other students (and facebook friends) are signed up for each class, and join a class by applying purchased credits. They will be able to view course materials as shared files within each class, submit questions for tutors, and view grades.
-Tutors will be able to upload shared files for students to view, post grades, communicate with students, and manage classes/rosters.
-Administrator will be able to set up classes for employees (tutors), send bulk email to mailing list, view website stats and marketing stats from discount codes, and manage paypal funds.
