I want a chess playing server to be created in a short time. You may use [login to view URL] library or DHTML Chess API which I think will be very helpful.
You should know all the rules of the game.
There should be an admin panel, from where admin can see live games, online players, stats... There should be various time controls (Time per player + additionnal time per move).
No need for tournament management and pairing. Just game between 2 players.
All games should be saved in database in PGN format and could be viewed next time.
[login to view URL] could be seen as reference. Same features are needed.
No Java. Only PHP/HTML5/Javascript
