Fantasy Sports is a $billion industry with millions of users worldwide. One of the main problems seen in fantasy baseball leagues is the mortality of team managers. That is to say that many managers stop setting their lineups midway through the season. This happens for a couple reasons: In fantasy baseball you must set your lineup every day. Unfortunately the season is extremely long. Often it is very difficult to keep up with the entire fantasy baseball season, switching in starting pitchers, and switching out inactive players in your lineup.
I would like to make a program that fantasy baseball managers can use which will set their lineups for them automatically when on - switching out inactive players in the starting lineup (players that are either injured or not playing) with active players that are on a team's bench, and also switching in pitchers that are starting with pitchers that aren't.
The program would have to take into account a players position and whether or not they were playing/starting that day.
Ideally the automation program could be used in Yahoo fantasy baseball leagues as well as ESPN fantasy baseball leagues.
