This project is to be completed within 4 weeks.
This website will be offered as a service to multiple vendors. It will run off one central MySQL database and all run on the same set of code.
Our clients (graphic artists/business card vendors) will pay a monthly fee to use our website. They will have their own domain, and we will be able to style their site to look like a standalone website, but really it will be run on our system, shared by all our clients.
The vendor will be able to change various parts of information on the site. They can change their contact information and verbiage on the different pages. The contact form will be tied to their own email address.
Vendors will have the option of collecting payment through Paypal or Authorize.net. The system must have support for both and allow the vendor to enter the necessary information to connect the site to their merchant account.
The purpose of the site is for vendors to offer their business card creation services in a convenient way to their customers. A customer will be able to create their own business card using the interface of the site (javascript) or they can request a custom design from the vendor.
A database of graphic backgrounds and foreground graphics will be available to the customers to drag and drop on their business card designer. They will also be able to add text in a variety of fonts, things such as phone number, name, and other contact information. The customer can also upload their own graphics, such as a logo.
When the customer is satisfied with their design, they create the graphic for the card by clicking "Publish". The elements of the design are combined into one png image. The image can then be purchased using a credit card, and upon successful payment the vendor is notified via email that the card is ready to be printed.
The customer will have options at checkout for the quantity of cards. The prices and quantities are defined by the vendor.
Vendors (graphic artists who have subscribed to our service) will have the option of creating their own graphics and adding to the graphics database, to be shared by other vendors. When someone on any of the vendor sites includes one or more graphics from that artist, the artist will be paid a small amount from the purchase price.

Also the vendor needs to tell the system to either send the PDF straight to his printer's email, or have it go through the vendor first for review.
