Customized Auction Portal

We are looking for a professional software organization to develop a high-end online auction/classifieds site for us. Our requirement is NOT for a standard script but an application that will have lots of customized functionality in addition to ebay style standard auction features. The biggest difference will be a customized design. The application must be Multilingual and Scalable to support atleast 10K concurrent and 1M total users. The approved bidder will carry out installation and setup for a beta launch and then ‘Go Live’. A detailed list of requirements is attached.

We are looking for experience and quality not the cheapest vendor. There would be ongoing development and maintenance involved. Your bid will not be considered unless you can demonstrate your credentials through samples of your work.

Upon signing the NDA we will provide the design template for the site which will need to be coded. We will also provide screen designs for all the major screens in the application UI along with details of custom features & functionality.

We would prefer for this to built using existing scripts or other opensource GNU ([url removed, login to view], [url removed, login to view], [url removed, login to view]). We need complete Technical Documentation for this application.

As part of your bid pls provide the following info:

1. What is your current team strength? How would you staff this project (Project & technical lead, Programmers etc)?

2. What is your proposed solution design? Which 3rd party software components will you use?

3. What is your phased approach or plan to cover development, testing & launch?

4. What would be the cost, delivery time frames & payment terms?

5. How would you ensure SLA is met after implementation?

6. What kind of post-implementation support will you provide? What will be the cost be?

## Deliverables

1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.

2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):

a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.

b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.

3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).

4) We need complete Technical Documentation for this application.
