Bootable CD PC Support tool

We are looking for a developer with strong windows experience who can develop a bootable application that will run on a CD and will run several tools to help in our tech support business.

## Deliverables

We have an IT tech serviecs business and many of the problems that come in the door are repetitive and time consuming. We want a tool on a CD that we can put in, and will boot up into a safe environment and allow us to confure a 'run' that may for example be 5 virus checker scans (including downloading the latest definitions), a disk cleanup, defrag and a set of hardware tests.

So, the user selects from checkboxes what they want run, and then hits 'go' and it just runs one after the other for the next few hours. At the end there is a report of some description with the failures / problems.

Additionally there will be some tools that are to be run on demand that are interactive (eg. regedit).

Suggest that in the case of virus / malware scans, we need to also have the option to decide to use the definitions on the CD OR dowload new ones. Ideally we will get the new definitions on a regular basis and burn a new CD so that the process can be sped up without having to download all the time.

Most of this project is designing a suitable UI, wrapping the applications and providing the script to run them and control the output. Here is the list of items.

Automated Scan Incorporating:

* Antivirus Scan (Multiple scan engines)

* Malware (Multiple scan engines)

* AV/Malware updates from internet or USB Key

* Hardware Tests (Video Card, RAM, CPU Burn in, System temps, Fan speeds, etc)

* Software Optimisations (Defrag, Chkdsk)

Applications to perform:

* Hardware Information

* Registry Editor

* File Explorer

* Windows Password Changer

I appreciate that the specs are a little grey - we are looking for someone who can advise us on development tools, and how best to implement this.
