Associate Sales or Business Development Person - Photofilms

We wish to recruit a part-time ((minimum 1 day per week) freelance sales person to generate leads, and to market and sell our Photofilms. . developing room Ltd ([url removed, login to view]) is a media company that takes commissions and produce Photofilms for charities and commercial companies.

Photofilms are photographic images set to a strong narrative, using compelling interviews, ambient sound and music. The narrative is the core of the Photofilm, and the synergy between the narrative and images gives a communication media that often surpasses video as a means of engaging viewers emotions and conveying a message in a clear and memorable way.

The role requires lead generation as a minimum, but for the right person a comprehensive business development role may be offered.

Essential Requirements:

- A professional sales attitude that combines building long-term client relationships a strong focus on achieving the sale

- experience of B to B sales (and ideally some experience of the charity sector)

- Belief in the power of Photofilms as a communication media, and an interest in creative media

- A creative approach in identifying, contacting and developing potential clients

- Able to understand client needs and communicate these to the developing room team

- A team player able to work closely with the co-directors and the production team to ensure a smooth process from sale to the final output.

Two references (with at least one work related) required

Remuneration: Tiered commission paid and all receipted expenses
