The project involves creating a website template based on CRE Loaded platform. So step one is download the latest version of Standard CRE Loaded (free version).
This website can be imagined as a very simple online store that will use only a fraction of the CRE functions at this time.
The number of featured products in this store will be less than six. 1)The home page needs a Login box, but (no search box necessary on any of pages).
2)Login must take the user to a page that includes a sign-up or registration form.
3)Customer needs to have a view account page.
4)Riding on or near the header on every page should be the language translator. Chinese (and of course English) are the two languages I am most concerned with at this time.
Other page links from the navigation bar should be valid and functional, but do not worry about structure and content. Just duplicating the header/ background will work fine. I will be adding the rest. In fact, I will be adding much of the graphics and design of the entire site, including logo. Just need a simple and navigable framework in place first. One that is properly structured and coded.
No preferences on the check out/payment form page. As long as it works. And as long as email is auto sent after placing order.
Am looking for a clean design. My logo colors are red(9A1916)and black(524843). May work well with light grays, blues, browns or greens as alternative colors and things such as backgrounds, fillers, shadings,navigation bars, etc.

CSS is a good way to design. Also, I prefer layers rather than tables. Makes it easier to adjust the pages to my liking. Will accept tables when necessary (such as with forms), but would like to see them kept to a minimum. The pages need no more than two or three columns and I will handle all the adjustments and content.
Would like to see subtle use of dimension in places like buttons or navigation bar. Subtle use of shading/texture slashes in approprate places.
Summary: Template for a small online store. CRE Loaded driven. Clean professional look. Style that is easy to modify. Need the four functions listed above.
