Change the Theme on my Website

I have a membership website which I have just had built. I don't like the theme on it, as it is not very user friendly and I wish to change the theme. I tried this myself but I my website crashed on me.(white screen of death) I wish to use the Tesseract 2 theme for its ease of use for updating and editing abilities without knowledge of code. I need this to be done as soon as possible. I have spent way too long trying to customise my current theme.
