Mid-sized company (50-55 employees) is looking for an experienced QuickBooks Bookkeeper. Must have recent QuickBooks experience. Position is in a small office environment in Edmond maintaining the accounting for a chain of 6 Convenience stores that span Northwest OKC and Edmond. Experience in Inventory and COG is a plus. Will make frequent General Journal Entries, write checks, call vendors about invoicing issues, reconcile multiple bank statements, produce statements for the owner, record deposits and assist Store managers and other staff with needs as business requires.

This position will be required to pay Sales Tax each month in addition to entering and paying invoices, discussing insurance, meeting with staff, vendors and employees.

HR file maintenance and Payroll processing will also be required and the ability to maintain confidentiality is REQUIRED. Employee times are processed through a timeclock system and entered into Instant Payroll for processing.

This position requires frequent change of direction from one task to another with the ability to return to the original task with ease. While the general office is quiet, frequent interruptions occur and the ideal candidate must be able to handle the interruption and regain their concentration quickly.

Position will often require travel to the Convenience Stores for a variety of reasons.

Position will require the ability to sit for long periods of time.

REQUIRED:

3-5 years of RECENT QuickBooks experience-VERIFIABLE

3-5 years bookkeeping experience on a mid-large scale-VERIFIABLE

Payroll processing and/or some HR duties

Average or higher computer skills including Excel, Word etc.
