Slideshowpro Thumbgrid flash help

I am trying trying to replicate a flash photo gallery like:

and have built an almost final product (attached)

The aim is to start with a gallery view using the thumbgrid component (works), then click on the album and view the images in the album (works), then click on a photo and the photo fills the full screen (works).

The problem is from here onwards:

1. When I click on the photo it is meant to hide the photo and go back to the album view (What it presently does is goes to the album view but the photos continue to rotate in the background, and when it rotates to the next photo, the album gets replaced by the main photo.

2. When I click on the gallery button at the base it is meant to hide the photo and go back to the gallery view (What it presently does is goes to the gallery view but the photos continue to rotate in the background, and when it rotates to the next photo, the gallery gets replaced by the main photo.

3. I would also like the previous and next buttons to only appear when the individual photos are being displayed
