Design a logo for a lake/pond management company

I am looking for a person to design a logo that will help define a coprorate identity for a new company that I am starting up. The company name is "Superior Lake and Pond Management".
This new company will be focused on the management of lakes and ponds; helping owners increase water quality for recreational use including swimming and fishing. The logo should reflect the focus on water.
If you have any other work outside of your Freelancer portfolio that is pertinent that you would like me to review, please provide a link in your proposal.
I am open to design ideas However, font must be simple and easy to read because the name is long and I want it to be easily read off the side of a truck moving down the highway at 65mph.
I am envisioning something that encompasses some of the commonly recognized elements of water features -- water (obviously), cattails, lily pads, perhaps fish or some combination of those elements Maybe even a simple side (visual cut away) profile of a lake/pond ecosystem as part of the logo. I would like the elements used to be recognizable such that it is somewhat obvious what the company works with without necessarily even reading the name if that is possible.
Attention must also be taken such that the logo image would fit nicely into a web site as well as business cards and auto decals.
Our company sells and installs lake aeration systems, performs water quality testing, provides expertise to help renew lakes and ponds that have issues such as muck/sediment build up, murky water, and fish kills.
The "Superior" in our name was chosen not just for its defined dictionary meaning, but also because the company is headquartered in the upper peninsula of Michigan which is surrounded by lake Superior on the north and Lake Michigan on the east.
It is expected that the final design will be delivered in vector format, png with transparency, and JPG format.
