Illustrator for 19 Christian childrens books

I am looking for an artist that can portray realistic looking faces for the children in my books rather than cartoonish looking children. The books are adventure stories around 2500 words each and address an audience of 5-9 year old children. I have 19 of these books to illustrate and a cover for each. Each book has about 10 illustrations so I am looking for a reasonable rate so I can afford to finish this project. I think after the facial features are created, perhaps they can be reproduced in other illustrations and books to save time and money. Perhaps digital art would be easier and a time saver. I look the look of digital art and possibly using existing photos of the kids. I will need to stay with the illustrator to show continuity in all the books.
