Configure /48 ipv6 range on a Ubuntu server while preserving IPv4 connectivity

We have rented a server with 1 IPv4 and a /48 IPv6 range. The server is configured with the IPv4 and we want to add the IPv6 range, 1 IPv6 per /64 range, so 65.536 in total. The OS is the latest LTS of Ubuntu.
Our program will use the IPv6 addresses get ranking results from Google. The results are saved to our database servers, which are IPv4 only.
Definition of Done
- All IPv6 addresses can be used doing ping6 -I {ipv6} [login to view URL]
- Traffic to IPv4 addresses is still possible and using the IPv4 interface
- ip -6 addr | grep inet | awk '{print $2}' will print all 65.536 ip addresses
